Benefits of Individual Membership
INSURANCE |
As an individual member we include the cost of insurance within your affiliation fee so you have no hidden extras to pay. The insurance will offer you peace of mind that you are covered by Insurance regardless if you are coarse fishing, sea fishing or game fishing. In addition we ensure that you are covered for fishing anywhere within the UK. The limits of cover are; £5,000,000 Public and Products Liability |
Period of Membership |
Your membership will run for a period of twelve months from the time that you take up the membership. So it doesn't’t matter at what time of the year you join. You will also receive any notification for renewal 4 weeks prior to the end of your membership. |
Membership Card |
You will be sent a WFCA membership card that is valid for a period of twelve months from the time of joining. The membership card can be used in support of obtaining any discounts or benefits arranged for our members. |
News Letters |
As a member you will receive a regular monthly news letter e-mailed to you from the WFCA informing you of any promotions, special offers, competitions, discount schemes etc. |
Additional Benefits |
As an individual you are entitled to all the benefits as any affiliated member club, you may participate in any official WFCA event or competitions and receive the same support and representation as any one else. |
Who can Join |
Membership is open to any individual who wishes to join so it doesn't’t matter if you live in Wales or not. |
Visiting Anglers |
Any person who visits Wales on Holiday can also benefit from this membership as we can assist in making your stay an enjoyable experience by helping to locate the perfect camp site or touring site or even to assist in finding suitable accommodation. We can provide you with detailed advice on where to fish. Also to provide you with details of Fishing Tackle Shops in the area you are visiting. |

We have a simple application form to complete shown at the bottom of this page and you will be given the option to either pay over the phone or by post. |
Club Affiliation:
Many Clubs are members of the WFCA and support what we do for angling and benefit from our services and other benefits that we provide to our members.
If your club isn't a member but would like to consider joining us and being part of recognised body that works extremely hard for the rights of anglers and to ensure the future of our sport. Then join us now
The WFCA can also arrange to visit your club and give a presentation about the WFCA in order to encourage your club to join.

Benefits of Affiliated Club Membership
Insurance |
We can provide your club with optional Insurance cover for: The insurance cover will provide cover for all day ticket users, work party's, competitions, events, visitors, officers of the club, individual members to fish anywhere within UK for pleasure or competitive angling. It will also cover the club and its members for angling activities arrange on other waters not belong or leased to the club. |
Period of affiliation |
Normally clubs will join at the start of our financial year 1st of January however we do accept clubs joining throughout different times of the year especially new clubs and the cost of joining is reduced depending on when you join. However after the first year clubs are expected to renew at the start of the financial year. |
Membership Card |
The WFCA will be introducing a membership card for clubs in 2008 to issue to its members. This card can be used to obtain any discounts or benefits arranged for our members. |
News Letter |
The WFCA will send out monthly newsletters to all our affiliated clubs and their members who register on the WFCA web site with e-mail addresses. |
Additional Benefits |
As an affiliated club you are permitted to take part in all WFCA competitive activities, attend any events or meetings at regional level and to send a delegate to the National AGM. You will be entitled to submit people forward for awards in recognition for the work that individuals have done for your club. As a member of the WFCA it will also open up a lot more doors for you in relation to funding projects or obtaining grants for other activities. We can assist in obtaining grants and help with any applications. As a club you will be entitled to legal representation under any agreements we have in place with any solicitors. We will assist you in any matters concerning lease agreements, constitutional issues, forming a club, fishery management advice and much more. In addition we will provide advice and support in any matters of concerns for the club. |
Who can join |
The WFCA is open to any club who wishes to join we have no restrictions. We have many clubs that has mixed sections for coarse, sea and game fishing. |
How to Join |
With Clubs we prefer for you to join through completing a form and sending it to us because we appreciate that clubs normally operate a current account and often require two signatures on a cheque.
