Rod Licences

The WFCA do not support anyone who is caught fishing without a Licence. It is important that you as an angler purchase a rod licence either at the local Post Office or on the Environment Agency Website.

You can click on this link to take you directly to the EA online Licence purchase system.

http://www.environment-agency.gov.uk/subjects/fish/399730/?version=1

The money we pay for our Licence helps to fund improvement of fisheries, and other works associated with managing fisheries.

If you ignore the fact that you must have a licence all you are doing is depriving angling of much needed revenue to improve our fisheries. But also if you get caught without a licence you could face a fine of up to £2,500.
