Pike Fishing

The WFCA is committed to the development of sport and Pike Angling is on our agenda. It is estimated that over 3,000 anglers within the WFCA undertake Pike fishing as well as general coarse fishing.

So to satisfy the demands of the membership we are looking to appoint a Pike Specialist to our Executive Board to help us to develop this side of our sport and perhaps establish some Pike Fishing competitions within Wales.

The other thing is that our World Governing Body has introduced the World Predator Fishing Championships. So again if you are interested we would love to hear from you. However if it is decided to enter a team into the World Predator Championships it would have to be self funding.
